    No. Roseola is a viral disease that infants get (and sometimes toddlers). It causes a rash and high temperature. There is no treatment for it, and it usually goes away by itself. You want to keep his fever down with tylenol, and maybe cool sponge baths. If he has convulsions (rare but possible) get him to the emergency room. It can last from 3 to 7 days.

    Herpes is something completely different.
